  • Keeping Residents Safe and Combating Covid-19: The health and well being of Canton resident is priority #1 for your Elected Leaders. Supporting and adequately funding our first responders (police, fire, and EMS) is more important than ever as we continue to battle the Covid-19 outbreak together. We want to ensure our first responders are equipped with the personal protection equipment, latest technology, and staffing levels to continue to keep residents safe and help us continue to be a responsive community in the fight against Covid-19.

  • Smarter Planning and More Green Spaces: Ensure that new residential and commercial growth in Canton is done in a smarter, more responsible manner to reduce congestion, increase walkability, and add more parks and green spaces for residents to enjoy. Attract diverse shopping and dining options for residents to enjoy by continuing to invest in our downtown area and Cherry Hill Village.

  • Protect Our Curbside Recycling Program: Canton resident participate in an environmentally-friendly curbside recycling program. We want to protect our curbside recycling program for residents and ensure that the Canton Community is a leader in combating climate change and protecting the environment.

  • Fixing Our Roads: Implement the roads millage passed in 2018 to fix our broken roads and improve the traffic congestion and safety along Ford Road.

  • Creating Sustainability: Make Canton Township a leader in renewable and sustainable technology. Increase investments in green-energy technology. We want to add more electric vehicle charging stations at township buildings to support climate-friendly transportation. We want to expand small cell wireless technology to create faster, more reliable cell phone service in the Canton community. We want to develop a smarter traffic grid to improve traffic flow and decrease congestion on Canton roads.

  • Investing In Our Future: Ensure taxpayer dollars are used responsibly so we can make investments to improve the quality of life for residents and keep our community competitive to attract new families.

  • A Welcoming and Diverse Canton: Canton should be a welcoming, inclusive, and diverse community where every resident feels welcome no matter your race, religion, ethnic background, gender identity, or sexual orientation. We are committed to continue increasing the diversity on our appointed boards and commissions.
